Last night, I had a dream about a live-action Lilo and Stitch where Stitch was played by a live chicken with its tail feathers removed, and Lilo was played by a little girl who looked identical to the part, but was dubbed over by Daveigh Chase.
Also, Jumba and Pleakley looked nothing like their regular selves. Jumba looked like a spikey Mr. Krabs, and Pleakley looked like a yellow version of the Pascagoula aliens. And they both looked like they were carved out of plastic or wax.

As someone who thought Nimona was just okay, I don't get the hype surrounding it, because it feels like the kind of movie social media critics SHOULD hate. Cheap and unfinished animation that looks worse than Wish's, using a non-human creature as a metaphor for discrimination in a way that's even less applicable to real life than Zootopia or Elemental, a bunch of common animated film clichés and tropes (like the third-act breakup and a fakeout death that's revealed in the most abrupt and last-minute way possible), a climax that's stolen directly from The Iron Giant, and a really boring and forgettable villain. Despite this, all the social media critics LOVE Nimona and treat it as an amazing groundbreaking masterpiece, even though I bet if Nimona were a Disney film, people would be bashing it like they did with Elemental and Wish, for the reasons mentioned above. You see what I mean when I say social media critics are really inconsistent about what they like and dislike, and how
I went and saw Wish yesterday, and while it was far from my favorite Disney movie (Asha and her friends were a little underdeveloped), it does NOT deserve all the hate it got on social media.
So I'm not the only one who's anticipating Disney's Wish in spite of the drama and discourse surrounding the new trailer, right? Everyone's complaining about the animation style and saying that it looks like a half-rendered Disney Junior show with an AI filter...but these people also praise the hell out of Nimona despite THAT film's animation style looking more cheap and offputting (at least to me). While it would be awesome if they made Wish a 2D film as was originally planned, I'm happy to see Disney experimenting with a new style. People were originally anticipating King Magnifico due to being an actual villain instead of a twist villain or generational trauma...but now they're complaining about him being in the right for not granting everyone's wishes...even though we don't know the full context and he could making extremely arbitrary choices as to which wishes he chooses to grant (like, maybe he's only granting wishes that he has something to gain from). But if they DID show
